JVC AX-400
I was searching online for a reliable technician to handle repairs or a complete overhaul, given that the machine is over 40 years old.
I came across your website and, naturally, read almost all the reviews regarding the electronics you’ve repaired and upgraded.
I was delighted to find that you service vintage equipment, so I gave you a call and was pleasantly surprised by your willingness to help resolve my issue.
I am glad to have found someone capable of breathing new life into old gear.
The JVC AX-400 amplifier isn’t exactly a marvel of engineering, but back in the 80s, it was a highly sought-after item from Tuzex and a dream of mine—part of a complete 1984 system I assembled piece by piece.
After agreeing to your proposed plan for a full overhaul and upgrade, and having used it for about a month now, I can say—despite my age and the fact that my hearing isn’t what it used to be—that the amplifier has been revitalized. It performs fantastically within its capabilities, and the phono preamp sounds great, too.
I would like to sincerely thank you for the work you’ve done; as a sign of my trust, I have also sent you a JVC AX-Z1010 amplifier for an upgrade, and I hope it turns out even better after the renovation.
P.S. The sticker on the front of the amplifier is original and very tasteful.
