There is a noticeable difference in the sound.

This is particularly evident in the details; I could hear them before, but now I don’t have to concentrate so hard to pick them out.

The harshness that used to be grating to the ears during certain passages is gone, too.

I also get the impression that it is more sensitive to recording quality.

There are still some sonic issues, but I realize that is a matter of acoustics—something I plan to address, at least from a layperson’s perspective and with the help of reference materials, since I have a dedicated listening room.

I am satisfied.
