SONY TA-FA 50 ES

Audio Performance /Owner’s Observations/

I believe that after the modification, the FA-50ES delivers a very neutral sound; nothing bothered me, and nothing was missing.
It represents a significant improvement over how it sounded before.
The original sound was very thin—even harsh—and I initially thought it was a poor match for my Canton Vento 820.2 bookshelf speakers.
Now, the highs are clean, the midrange is detailed, and the bass is precise and tight.
The modification of the signal paths and other components has clearly made a positive impact.
