After the modification, the speakers deliver a solid, harmonious sound; the high frequencies no longer stand out aggressively, and the soundstage has improved. They perform smoothly at both low and moderate volume levels. The sound is soothing and non-fatiguing. While the dynamics were initially somewhat disjointed, they now feel more refined. I did not expect miracles from this model, yet the output is very solid for the lower-mid-range category. Note: In the final stage of the modification, the original tweeter was replaced with a significantly higher-quality unit—the Monacor DT-107.
